Swimming fun

Four two weeks this summer Cubby, Willy, mom, and me went down to Cedar City for swimming lessons at the college pool. Jess and Tys would come and watch Willy, Cubs and I swim our little hearts out almost every day. After tons of lap swimming and practice at the Community Pool after lessons the three of us became much better swimmers. Cubby and I also learned how to dive off the diving blocks to race, and after many belly flops we could each almost do it correctly. Almost. At the end of the two weeks the three of us were all very tired and the chlorine that we swam in almost every day could still be smelled in Cubby's and mine hair even after showering. But that smell has died down thankfully. Anyway, here are some slightly fuzzy pictures that photographer mom, with the help of jess, took.

Jumping off Grover Bridge

One hot July day last month, my friend Amy and I decided to jump off the Grover Bridge in Star Valley. I was a little scared to jump off the bridge since its about a 12 or 13 foot jump. But I went anyway to see if I might change my mind and decide to jump off. When we got to the bridge it was way cold for July since it had been raining all afternoon, and I didnt want to get wet very badly. But I still got onto the side and jumped off at the same time with my friend. It was super fun and not really scary-if you didnt think about how far a jump it was. Mom was there, being the photographer of the fabulous event, and so here are some pictures.
